Five Pairs of Cat's Eyes
Five
pairs of cats eyes
Beautiful and bright
Hypnotic by day
Eerie by night
Two
like warm peaches
No fur to be seen
A manifestation
Of a cat lover's dream
One
with Black fur
To the others she's linked
All the same breed
The unusual sphynx
Five
rough tongues licking
Only two touching fur
Five cats sat grooming
A deafening purr
One
has some fur
but none on his back
Amazing blue eyes
In a face almost black
One
stands alone
No particular breed
Loving and soft
Is all that I need
Five
pairs of cats eyes
Are closed now in sleep
The emotions they arouse
Are loving and deep
